LRTAP Convention has been ratified by 51 Parties: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, European Union, Finland, France, FYR of Macedonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Rep. of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America.

 

Emission trends are often presented separately for the geographical areas EMEP West and EMEP East. For EMEP West countries EU28 + EFTA + Monaco + WB and for EMEP East 9 EECCA countries + Turkey are summarized.

EFTA targets 4 countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.

 

WB (West Balkan) targets 5 countries: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, FYR of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.

 

Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) targets the 12 countries Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, from which all but 3 countries (Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) ratified CLRTAP.
