Review of adjustment applications 

The technical review of adjustment applications submitted under the Gothenburg Protocol is a desk review which is conducted annually in April-June.

CEIP supports the reviewers by managing the review process overall, including the provision of Party information to the reviewers. CEIP also acts as an intermediary between the Party and the reviewers, should there be points which require clarification during the review.  A lead reviewer co-ordinates the work of the team to ensure that a consistent approach is taken across all Parties / years/ pollutants/ source categories. All submitted adjustments are checked by two independent reviewers.  All  adjustments that are reported in requested  formats are imported into the tool developed by CEIP.
